Six persons were injured on Sunday afternoon when a woman lost control of the car she was driving and crashed into the airport perimeter boundary.

The accident happened in Triq l-Industrija, Kirkop, at 6.30pm.

The woman, aged 31 of Santa Venera, was driving a Mercedes Benz GLC.

In the car with here were a 21-year-old woman, two girls aged 15 and 7, and two boys aged 12 and 10.

They were all taken to hospital for treatment.

The 21-year-old woman, 15-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy suffered grievous injuries while the other three were slightly hurt.
