Three people hurt, one seriously, in St Julian’s argument

Three people were hurt during an argument in St Julian's, the policer said.

At 5.30am, assistance from the police was requestion on Triq Santu Wistin.

A 21-year-old Colombian was injured allegedly after an argument with a group of people which involved workers at the end of their shift and others, the police said. It resulted that a further two people were assaulted. These were two Colombians aged 23 and 36. The alleged aggressors are still being identified by the police.

The three were taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. The 21-year-old suffered serious injuries and the other two suffered slight injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing and a magisterial inquiry was launched.
