Two people who were trapped in the Ta' Maria Caves limits of Mgarr, Malta due to the rough sea conditions in the area, were rescued yesterday.
After receiving a call, Malta Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) coordinated the rescue by deploying Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) maritime assets, the Malta Police, and Civil Protection Department (CPD) maritime assets to the area. "Through a coordinated effort by AFM and CPD, the two persons were safely rescued, brought to shore, and handed over to Mater Dei personnel for further medical assistance."
The Armed Forces of Malta urges all members of the general public to stay vigilant and avoid taking unnecessary risks. "Your safety is our top priority, and we ask for your cooperation in maintaining a secure environment for everyone."
