Identità has categorically denied any allegations of its involvement in mistaken police raids resulting from alleged fraudulent addresses.

The Nationalist Party said Tuesday that it is demanding clear answers from the Minister for the Interior and the Commissioner of Police regarding raids conducted on individuals by mistake. The PN, through it s spokesman Darren Carabott, said it is concerned about the worrying situation of raids and forced evictions in private residences that are taking place based on incorrect information from the law enforcement agencies. Among other things, the party asked if this forced entry is related to the scandal of false addresses registered with the Identity Agency, for which there is an ongoing Magisterial Inquiry?

Identità said: "The agency expresses disappointment over such claims, which it states create unnecessary public doubts and contribute to confusion rather than clarity. Identità stresses that, at no point, has it been involved in police investigations related to the recent raids conducted at certain residences, in Marsa. Identità remains diligent in its work, ensuring that all procedures and services are conducted with the highest standards of integrity. Identità remains committed to safeguarding the interests of those utilising its services, prioritising transparency and good governance."
