Three people from Pakistan, Syria, and Ghana were found living in Malta illegally, the police said.
The police said that they were taken to a detention center until their return process is completed.
On Thursday, the Police, Transport Malta, and Identità, assisted by the Agency for Detention Services, carried out a traffic inspection on Garibaldi Street, Luqa.
During this operation, around 100 vehicles were stopped, resulting in a total of 28 fines related to traffic regulation violations. One vehicle was towed, and two drivers were found to be driving without a valid driving license.
These inspections are part of a joint enforcement operation that the police are conducting regularly to enhance road safety, the police said.
