Residents treated for smoke inhalation after Fgura fire

A number of persons were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a residence in Fgura on Thursday, the police said.

The fire broke out just after 6am in a residence in Cospicua Road.

The blaze was put out by members of the Civil Protection Department.

The police said no-one was injured but the residents were treated for smoke inhalation.

In a post on Facebook, Minister Byron Camilleri said all those inside the property were assisted and the fire was under control.
