During a meeting of the Nationalist Party's Executive Committee held Thursday evening, the PN's internal renewal process continued with the approval of two more young candidates for the upcoming general election.
The approved candidates are Frederick Aquilina for the Sixth Electoral District, and Luke Said for the Thirteenth Electoral District
While Luke Said is a new candidate, Frederick Aquilina had already contested the previous general election with the PN, the party said in a statement.
Moreover, during tonight's Executive Committee meeting, several other decisions were taken which are expected to further strengthen the work within the Party's various structures.
Among other measures, the Executive Committee approved reforms in the work of the Sectional Committees and Branches, as well as new roles for District Representatives of Local Councillors and Sectional Committees within the Executive Committee itself.
The Executive Committee also confirmed Stefan Caruana as the PN's Executive Organisational Secretary and approved the launch of a reform process of the Party Statute to better reflect the PN's updated political operations.
