Second place was awarded to 'Tiegħek Jien,' performed by Brooke, with music by Cyprian Cassar and Brooke and lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss.

The third-place song was Perfett, performed, composed, and written by Pamela Bezzina.

Additional awards were presented to Lisa Gauci for Best Interpretation with the song Aħjar and to Maestro Ryan Paul Abela for Best Musical Arrangement for the same song, as judged by the expert panel during the final night.

This year's festival removed the elimination round from the first night, allowing each singer to perform their song twice.

An exclusive in-hall voting app was also introduced, allowing audience members attending the Thursday night show to cast their votes. These votes were then combined with the final night's televoting results to determine the overall winner.

Culture Minister Owen Bonnici said that Mużika Mużika has established itself as one of the biggest Maltese song festivals.

"The fact that over 750 applications have been submitted in just five years highlights the talent and enthusiasm for Maltese-language music," Bonnici said, thanking all participating artists and congratulated the winners.

He said that the strong participation and the variety of songs seen each year prove how inspiring this festival is.

"Through this event, we are proudly promoting our Maltese language in the best possible way," Bonnici said.

Chairman of Festivals Malta Aaron Zahra spoke of his gratitude to the Festivals Malta team for their hard work in making the event possible.

He also praised the singers, authors, and composers, commending their professionalism.

"Once again, Mużika Mużika has met and even exceeded expectations. Over the years, our festival has continuously reached new heights in terms of quality and production. I look forward to the preparations for Mużika Mużika 2026," Zahra said.

Festivals Malta CEO Frans Agius spoke of the festival's growing impact on Malta's musical history, and said that year after year, Mużika Mużika has continued to raise the bar musically.

"The original Maltese songs presented during the festival are becoming an integral part of our country's artistic heritage. We are committed to investing in both our artists and our musical legacy to ensure the festival continues to improve and grow," he said.

Chairman of Mużika Mużika Raymond Bugeja congratulated all participants and winners, emphasizing that the festival's main goal - providing a well-deserved platform for Maltese music- was being achieved and even surpassed.

Artistic Director Paul Abela said that although Mużika Mużika is ultimately a competition with one official winner, he believes every finalist's song is unique in its own way.

"The high standard of entries this year is a testament to the festival's growing stature, and I look forward to seeing it continue to expand its musical legacy," Abela said.

The Ministry for National Heritage, the Arts, and Local Government, together with Festivals Malta and the Mużika Mużika board, extended their gratitude to everyone involved in this year's festival and to the public for their continuous support.
