The Italian biker who was seriously injured on Thursday morning following a crash in St Andrew's Road, Pembroke, has died, the police said Saturday.
The accident happened on Thursday at around 5.30am.
The biker, aged 21, lost control of the Kymco Agility he was riding and crashed in a concrete barricade.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He died on Saturday.
Magistrate Monica Borg Galea is leading an inquiry.
He is the 18th person to die on Maltese roads this year.
