A man was grievously injured in a crash on Tuesday.

The crash took place on Triq Dawret San Pawl il-Baħar, St Paul's Bay at 1.30pm.

Preliminary police investigations found that a 39-year-old man who resides in Floriana, who was riding a Honda SH motorcycle, collided with a BMW Transport Malta motorcycle that was blocking part of a road due to a road being cleaned from oil.

A medical team and ambulance went on site and the rider was taken to Mater Dei Hospital. The man was certified as having suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
