The Malta Men's National Football Team and the delegation led by MFA President Bjorn Vassallo and National Team Coach Emilio De Leo, had the honour of attending a Papal Audience and Blessing with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the MFA said.

Accompanied by Frank Zammit, Ambassador of Malta to the Holy See, the delegation presented His Holiness with the 125th Anniversary Commemorative National Team Shirt, marking this historic milestone in Maltese football.

"A truly memorable occasion celebrating faith, sportsmanship, and the spirit of the beautiful game," the MFA said on its Facebook page.
