Artists unite in ‘Collectively Solo V’ for a vivid exploration of place and memory

Sunday, 7 December 2025, 09:00 Last update: about 9 months ago

Gallery 23's annual showcase "Collectively Solo V" returns this December, bringing together fourteen artists whose distinct styles and perspectives form a dynamic conversation in paint, line and colour. The exhibition spans a broad spectrum of visual expression - from luminous landscapes and stirring seascapes to figurative works, prints, bold illustrations and intimate narrative pieces.

This year's edition highlights the individuality of each participating artist while revealing the subtle dialogue that emerges when diverse creative visions share the same space. Visitors can expect an engaging interplay of traditional and contemporary approaches, with delicate watercolours and expressive oils displayed alongside striking modern works characterised by vivid palettes and abstract forms.

Gallery 23 welcomes back familiar contributors as well as fresh voices joining the collective for the first time, resulting in a rich and balanced exhibition that celebrates both continuity and discovery.

The public is invited to attend the exhibition's open viewing sessions on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm and Sundays from 10.30am to 1pm. Appointments outside these times may be arranged by contacting 9942 8272 or [email protected].

"Collectively Solo V" runs until 21 December 2025 at Gallery 23, 23 Idmejda Street, Balzan.
