Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg on Tuesday officially opened this year's edition of the PN's Christmas festivities, held under the theme Milied Miegħek.

This Christmas village will run over seven days, offering a programme of activities and attractions to suit all ages and interests.

Borg officially switched on the Christmas lights along the facade of the Dar Ċentrali and declared open the programme of activities, which will run until 15 December. The programme will include performances by various singers, artists and bands, a crib exhibition, and a dedicated children's area featuring a visit from Father Christmas.

A number of choirs will also be performing, while the programme includes a Coffee Morning tomorrow, the Christmas Dinner on Friday evening and a Christmas 60s Night on Saturday. Children will have an activity entirely dedicated to them - a party at Dar Ċentrali - on Saturday morning.

Tonight at 7pm, PN Leader Alex Borg and his partner Sarah Bajada will preside over a unique event. "Dawl fis-Skiet", organised by Bajada, aims to raise awareness about loneliness during the Christmas season.

Milied Miegħek reaches its peak this coming Sunday and Monday. On Sunday a Fundraising Marathon will be held between 12pm and 11pm on NET Television and NET FM, with entertainment continuing throughout the day both inside and outside Dar Ċentrali.

Monday, 15 December, marks the first 100 days of Alex Borg as new PN Leader. This milestone will be celebrated with a mass rally in front of Dar Ċentrali, addressed by Alex Borg, starting at 6pm. An afterparty featuring various DJs will follow.
