Gwarniċ presents Colourful Dialogues, a collective exhibition opening on 7 January, 6.30pm at Bizzilla Art Space, Floriana, and running until 27 January.
Bringing together a carefully curated selection of local and international artists, Colourful Dialogues explores colour as a universal visual language, a force that connects cultures, perspectives, and artistic approaches beyond borders. The exhibition invites audiences into an open conversation where emotion, form, and space interact through expressive and diverse visual narratives.
After six years of continuous growth and collaboration within Malta's creative and commercial landscape, Colourful Dialogues represents a defining moment for Gwarniċ. The exhibition marks the platform's transition from predominantly digital and site-specific commercial curation into a fully realised physical exhibition, shaped by years of working closely with artists, spaces, and audiences.
The show presents a dynamic blend of figurative and informal works, unified by colour as a central narrative element. Each piece contributes to an evolving dialogue; between abstraction and structure, intuition and intention, artist and viewer; resulting in an immersive and visually compelling experience that reflects how art lives and communicates within real environments.
Participating Artists: Kevin Sciberras (Malta), Antje Flauss (Germany), Chris Saliba (Malta), Teo Burki (Georgia), Rosette Bonello (Malta), Irakli Chikovani (Georgia), Sopho Simonishvili (Georgia)
Gwarniċ: Six years of curated impact
Over the past six years, Gwarniċ has become one of Malta's most trusted art platforms, collaborating with more than 60 local and international artists and offering the island's largest and most diverse selection of artwork, spanning fine art, photography, digital art, sculptures and hand painted ceramics.
In addition to working with private collectors, Gwarniċ has built the trust of more than 100 corporate clients and over 1,000 private individuals, who have entrusted the brand with curating art for their offices, commercial spaces, and homes. Gwarniċ has played an active role in shaping commercial, hospitality, public, and corporate environments, including offices, hotels, restaurants, cafés, retail spaces, government departments, boutique hotels, and high-end residential projects.
Through tailored curation, spatial planning, and realistic visual renders, clients are able to clearly visualise how artworks will function within their spaces before installation. This deep, hands-on experience with space, audience, and context directly informs Colourful Dialogues, an exhibition grounded in both a practical and emotional understanding of how art enhances, activates, and transforms environments.
Founders' statement
"Colourful Dialogues is a natural evolution of what we have been building over the past six years," say Gwarniċ founders Bryan Borg and Andrew Gerardi.
"Working closely with artists and a wide range of commercial and public clients has shown us how powerful art can be when it is thoughtfully curated. This exhibition brings that experience into a shared physical space - celebrating colour, diversity of expression, and the conversations that emerge when different artistic voices come together."
They add: "This is not simply an exhibition of artworks. It is an invitation to dialogue; between cultures, artists, and viewers, and a reflection of how art can transform not only walls, but the way we experience space itself."
Gwarnic is a Malta-based art platform dedicated to connecting artists with both private and commercial audiences. With a strong focus on curation, collaboration, and accessibility, Gwarnic supports local talent while maintaining a clear international outlook.
