Scene Stealers & Culture vultures

This year's photo spread captures the sparkle of those who made us look twice - and listen longer. Artists, singers, musicians, dreamers, and doers: each one brought their own kind of magic to Malta's cultural mosaic. Whether bathed in spotlight or basking in espresso steam, they reminded us that charisma isn't just for the stage - it's for the everyday moments that make a year unforgettable.

Who says there is not enough culture on these islands? Mostly those who are never seen at a concert, play or art exhibition. Thank you Dr  Owen Bonnici for your financial help and encouragement to creatives. They have never had it so good.

In these pages you'll glimpse the camaraderie of opening nights, and the quiet dignity of those who give more than they take. They came, they posed, they conquered with croissants, chords, canvases, and charisma. This year's gallery of greats includes artists who made us feel, singers who made us sway, and café charmers who made us stay for one more espresso. Whether caught mid-toast or mid-note, these fabulous faces didn't just show up - they showed off. And we loved every minute.

This is a gathering of kindred spirits who, knowingly or not, have left their imprint on the year's unfolding narrative... and our pages. To each one: thank you for appearing, for inspiring, for reminding us that art is not only made - it is lived, shared, and remembered.

To those creatives who do not appear here, we are not writing a book and space is very limited. We salute you and thank you. Keep on creating and giving so many pleasure.
