A crash between a car and a truck sent two people to hospital.

The accident occurred on Triq iż-Żejfa in Mosta between a Y-plate Peugeot 308, driven by a 58-year-old man from St Paul's Bay, and an Isuzu N2R, driven by a 38-year-old man from Rabat.

A 28-year-old man from Japan was a passenger in the Peugeot. Both the driver of the Peugeor and the passenger were taken to hospital, police said. Their official conditions are not yet known, but police said the driver is not in danger of dying and the passenger seemingly suffered slight or no injuries.
