An elderly man was grievously injured on Saturday following a collision between two cars in Birkirkara, the police said.
The accident happened in Dun Karm Street at 10.30am.
It involved a Toyota Vitz driven by a 74-year-old man from Qormi, who had a 51-year-old man from Zebbug riding as a passenger, and a Mercedes Benz Sprinter driven by a 29-year-old man of Kalkara.
The 74-year-old man was taken to hospital with grievous injuries, the police said.
