This February, Corinthia London will unveil Look at Me - Framing the Iconic, a striking new installation from acclaimed British-Maltese portrait photographer Lorenzo Agius. Running throughout the 2026 BAFTA Awards season, the exhibition transforms the hotel's grand public spaces with large-scale, suspended portraits of some of the most recognisable faces in modern cinema.

Best known for creating the era-defining campaign for Trainspotting, Agius has spent three decades capturing the charisma, eccentricity and humanity of cultural icons. Ewan McGregor, Helena Bonham Carter, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, Clive Owen, Kate Winslet and more all feature in the exhibition, alongside a constellation of American stars including Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, Will Smith, Madonna and Meryl Streep.
Curated by Professor Charlene Vella (University of Malta), the exhibition brings Agius's most celebrated images into an immersive environment. Monumental prints will appear to "float" through Corinthia's lobbies and corridors, inviting guests to encounter these famous faces in an unexpectedly intimate way.

Presented in collaboration with the Maltese High Commission in London and Visit Malta, the installation celebrates both the international reach of Maltese creativity and the Corinthia's own Maltese heritage. As Malta continues to grow as a major filming destination, Look at Me - Framing the Iconic highlights the country's ongoing dialogue with global cinema.
"Lorenzo Agius has captured the faces that have defined an era," says Prof. Vella. "His images are timeless, and this exhibition offers a rare chance to experience them in a setting that unites Maltese craftsmanship, British creativity, and cinematic heritage."
