Gozo Channel Ltd said that it has experienced a cyber security incident affecting certain IT systems.
The Company wishes to reassure the public that ferry operations remain fully unaffected.
"Services are running according to the standard timetable, and all vessels continue to operate normally. The Company's resilient IT infrastructure and established contingency measures enabled the incident to be contained promptly, ensuring that critical operational systems remained secure. Incident response protocols were activated immediately. Technical teams are working to restore impacted administrative systems and to ensure all assets return to full operational capability in due course. Gozo Channel Ltd has also engaged specialist cyber security forensic experts to support the investigation and recovery process."
