Firefighters from Fire Stations 1 and 4 responded to reports of a vehicle fire in Żabbar involving an internal combustion engine vehicle on Thursday, the Civil Protection Department said on social media.

"On arrival at the scene, firefighters found that a lorry was also on fire, while a third lorry sustained slight damage as a result of the incident. Firefighting operations were immediately initiated and the fire was successfully brought under control."

No injuries were reported, it said.

The CPD thanked The Malta Police Force, Transport Malta and the Mater Dei Hospital Emergency Department for their assistance collaboration during this incident.
