Reed's School Choir of Cobham, Surrey, will be giving a concert of sacred music at St Lawrence Collegiate Parish Church, Vittoriosa, on Friday, 20 March. The concert starts at 6:45 pm.

Reed's School has a robust Music Department under the directorship of Dr Simeon Smith. Music is an integral part of school life, with a focus on creating an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages pupils to explore their musical talents and passions. The school offers extensive music opportunities, including chamber choirs, ensemble performances, and instrumental training.

Singing is the lifeblood of the Music Department, with membership in the choir standing at an impressive 160 pupils. In addition, singing plays a significant role in the school's Chapel, with all pupils singing at least once a week, providing them with the opportunity to develop their vocal skills and musical understanding.

Members of the Reed's School Choir provide the school community with liturgical music throughout the year in the high Anglican tradition. The choir performs periodically in various Oxford and Cambridge University college chapels and has toured extensively in Europe, performing at cathedrals and churches in Belgium, France, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands.

The choir has a vast repertoire spanning liturgical, classical, and contemporary choral works. Friday's concert will include a Requiem composed by the group leader, Clive Osgood.

Entrance to the concert on Friday is free. For further info, please call 9945 3440 or 9944 0428.
