Get ready for an evening of live music fit for all the family. This April 4, 5 and 6, Teatru Manoel and TOI TOI present the return of their much-anticipated annual Easter Concert. This year's theme, Movie Magic, will take families on a riveting journey through the years, soundtracked by music from everyone's favourite movies.

Once again, audiences of all ages are invited to visit Teatru Manoel to marvel at some of the most iconic, evocative music ever written for the screen. Featuring music from E.T., Star Wars, Avengers, Shrek, Harry Potter as well as the TOI TOI audience singalong songs from box office smash films by Disney, Netflix, Universal and Pixar studios. Accompanied by the TOI TOI orchestral ensemble, a fourteen-piece band, alongside a cast of incredible children. Three powerhouse vocalists, TOI TOI audience favourite Tezara Saliba, Brillanti winner Kirsten Abela and rising Musical Theatre star Martina Galea Loffreda, take centre stage for the big hits, plus actors from the National Youth Theatre troupe, TMYT, add puppetry and physical theatre to the mix. This year, the show will also feature special guest artists from Opening Doors to join in the fun.

Now in its sixth edition, the TOI TOI Easter Concert has become a staple annual event in the calendar for many Maltese families, who join together in a collective experience. These concerts bring the older and younger members of the community together to enjoy live music in Malta's beautiful historic theatre. Previous shows have covered a variety of themes that celebrate the history of music such as musical theatre, big band music, and the history boy bands.

Movie Magic features Music Direction by Tom Newall and choreography by Warren Bonello. The production is written and directed by TOI TOI Learning & Participation Programme Manager Kate Fenech Field, with contributions from emerging directors Faye Mallia and Nicole Sciberras. 

Movie Magic takes place on Easter Saturday at 8pm, on Easter Sunday with an earlier start time of 5pm and on Monday 6 April at 3pm. Tickets cost €15 for children aged four to 16 and €30 for those aged 17 and up.
