"It is sobering to think that life could be snuffed out at any moment. This might be our last year together, our last Easter. And yet, we live as if there is no end in view, lost in the images, passions, and feelings that mask our status as mere phantoms." In his third solo watercolour exhibition, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Carmel Serracino asks: "Is there significance in the ephemeral? Do the religious symbols woven into our culture still hold meaning, or are they just echoes of a vanishing past?"

This exhibition presents 18 watercolour works, each reflecting deep and profound memories of special moments, inviting viewers to contemplate transience, faith, and the fleeting nature of human experience. It opened yesterday at Art by the Seaside Gallery, Senglea.
