Momentum candidates were out in force across the streets of Malta this weekend, conducting a series of discussions in Birkirkara, Luqa, Mosta, Swieqi and Siġġiewi, a party statement said Monday.
During the visits, volunteers distributed the Momentum newspaper, which outlines the party's core pillars of good governance, a just economy, and a commitment to restoring the aesthetic and environmental beauty of our islands, the statement said..
The party said it has seen a significant increase in small-scale donations following the recent interference. These funds have been instrumental in keeping our teams on the road and ensuring our literature reaches every household.
Momentum's General Secretary, Mark Camilleri Gambin, noted the shift in the public mood during the visits: "The attempt to silence us through the Cleansing Department has backfired. People are tired of the petty tactics used to protect the status quo. This weekend we saw a genuine desire for a centrist alternative that puts the citizen before the partisan machine. We are incredibly grateful to the donors who stepped up this week to ensure our voice remains loud and clear."
