Prime Minister Robert Abela will be contesting on the second and fifth districts, the same as four years ago.
Abela submitted his nomination at the Electoral Commission offices in Naxxar on Monday afternoon.
In the last election, Abela had obtained 11,694 votes in the second district and 9,996 votes in the fifth district.
