To mark the arrival of summer, the Embassy of France in Malta, the Alliance française de Malte‑Méditerranée and Teatru Salesjan will be hosting Fête de la Musique tomorrow Sunday,  21 June 2026, the longest day of the year. The celebration will take place from 6.30pm to 10pm across the indoor and outdoor spaces of Teatru Salesjan in Sliema.

A beloved French tradition held annually, Fête de la Musique brings people together through live music, conviviality and the simple pleasure of sharing an evening in good company. This year's edition is organised as part of the 'Breaking Bread Project' initiative and supported by APS Bank, with thanks to Teatru Salesjan and the Sliema Local Council for making the event possible.

Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of outdoor concerts, socialising and good cheer in a festive French atmosphere. To accompany the music, The Sea Cloud - a French bistro in Malta - will offer a selection of canapés, while a crêpe stand and a popcorn stand will add a touch of sweetness throughout the night.

The line‑up for the evening features Sweet & Sour, Maracujazz and Caña Soul, promising a warm, lively and varied musical journey to welcome the summer season.
