A new financial institution has officially launched in Malta, with Valletta Credit Finance Corporation (VCFC) unveiling its operations during an event at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta on 24 June.

The launch attracted more than 150 guests from Malta's business, financial and regulatory sectors, including government representatives and industry leaders.

Part of the Insignia Group, which has more than 30 years of experience in premium client services, VCFC will operate from Malta with a focus on serving internationally active businesses, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals. The company said it aims to combine multi-currency accounts, cross-border payments and dedicated relationship management within a single digital financial ecosystem.

Speaking at the launch, VCFC chairperson JP Fabri said the institution represents the next step in the Insignia Group's evolution, with a focus on combining technology, trusted client relationships and cross-border financial services.

Headquartered in Malta, VCFC said it intends to position itself as a globally connected financial institution serving international clients across sectors including gaming, aviation, yachting and technology.
