Every summer, Malta's cultural calendar offers a handful of events that bring families, friends and visitors together and the Valletta Pageant of the Seas has firmly established itself as one of them.
Taking place on Friday, 24 July, the Valletta Pageant of the Seas will transform the Grand Harbour into a breathtaking open-air stage. Organised by the Valletta Cultural Agency with the support of Visit Malta, the biennial spectacle offers an unforgettable evening where Malta's maritime heritage meets state-of-the-art production, creating a unique experience against the magnificent backdrop of Valletta's historic waterfront.

The evening begins at 8pm at Quarry Wharf (Xatt Ta' Liesse), Valletta, where the energetic Tikka Banda welcomes audiences with an interactive musical performance designed to build excitement before the main event takes centre stage on the water.
As darkness falls, the Grand Harbour welcomes a choreography of illuminated yachts, traditional Maltese boats, sailing vessels and kayaks, all moving in harmony to music and lighting effects. The vibrant display celebrates both Malta's rich maritime traditions and the timeless beauty of one of the country's most iconic natural harbours.

Adding to the spectacle will be synchronised water fountains and laser projections that will illuminate the harbour, creating an immersive visual experience for spectators gathered along the waterfront. The evening will culminate in an impressive fireworks finale, bringing the celebration to a memorable close.
Each edition of the Valletta Pageant of the Seas blends innovative technology with artistic creativity while paying tribute to Valletta's unique relationship with the sea. This year's production combines cutting-edge lighting, music, water effects and maritime heritage to deliver one of the highlights of Malta's summer cultural calendar.
The event is free of charge and offers an ideal evening out for families, friends, locals and visitors alike. With Quarry Wharf placing audiences at the heart of the action, spectators can enjoy front-row views of every moment of this extraordinary harbour spectacle.
The event will be held on Friday, 24 July at 8pm at Quarry Wharf (Xatt Ta' Liesse), Valletta.
Admission is free.
