Seventy-four students with disabilities are currently experiencing an enriching and supportive summer through the third edition of the Voice for Inclusion Summer Club 2026. Backed by a €150,000 investment, this collaborative initiative brings together Aġenzija Sapport, the Foundation for Educational Services (FES), and the Ministry for Gozo to offer tailored activities that foster independence, creativity, and social connections.

The club opened on 13 July and will close on Friday.

The programme is designed to meet the diverse needs of its participants while providing a stable, structured routine during the school break, which facilitates a smoother transition back to classrooms in September. Beyond benefiting the children and youths, the initiative offers crucial relief and support to their families.

Government officials, including Minister for Inclusion and Voluntarism Julia Farrugia, Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri, and Minister for Education and Sport Byron Camilleri, recently visited a session to observe the participants.

During the visit, the ministers emphasized that true inclusion goes beyond theoretical principles and requires concrete action, ensuring that every individual receives the necessary resources, safety, and equal opportunities to thrive within the community.
