Architect Thomas Tanti has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of public entity Housing Project Solutions.
Tanti has extensive experience in engineering, architecture, construction and project management, having worked for several years on the development and implementation of housing and infrastructure projects in the private sector.
Throughout his career, he has held various technical and project management positions, where he was responsible for, among other duties, supervising works on construction sites and ensuring projects were carried out according to the required specifications and standards.
He has also been involved in the planning and implementation of several projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams made up of architects, engineers, project managers and quantity surveyors.
His experience includes residential developments, road projects, as well as housing and restoration projects.
Tanti is a qualified architect and holds a Master of Engineering and a BSc (Hons) in Built Environment from the University of Malta.
Minister for Housing and Lands Owen Bonnici thanked outgoing Housing Project Solutions CEO Marisa Marmara for her work and dedication during her time leading the entity.
Bonnici also acknowledged Marmara's contribution to the entity's work and development, while wishing Tanti well in his new role.
