Mumenti returns for its sixth edition on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October, bringing together over 200 volunteers for two nights of live music, dance and theatre in aid of Hospice Malta.

A variety show celebrating Malta's artistic community, Mumenti brings together singers, dancers, musical theatre performers, choir members, musicians and crew of all ages, all giving their time and talent to create the production.

This year's show will feature musical performances inspired by some of musical theatre's best-loved productions, including Hadestown, Wicked, Moulin Rouge! and Jesus Christ Superstar. These will be joined by dance and choir performances, with a live band and orchestra performing a selection of timeless favourites.

The line-up will also feature some of Malta's best-loved artists, including Lisa Gauci, Drakard, Maxine Pace, Daniel Cauchi, Jolene Samhan, Kersten Graham, Gloriana Arpa Belli and Neville Refalo. They will share the stage with both returning participants and new faces, giving younger performers the chance to perform alongside some of Malta's established artists.

Much of Mumenti happens long before the curtain goes up. Months of rehearsals and preparation go into everything from music and choreography to costumes, sets and technical production, with hundreds of people contributing their skills along the way. What began as a small voluntary production has grown into a community that comes together each year for a shared purpose.

Since its first edition in 2019, Mumenti has raised C49,428.58 for Hospice Malta. The funds raised support Hospice Malta in providing free palliative care to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as support for their families and loved ones.

Mumenti 6 is powered by APS Bank, continuing a tradition of bringing people together through the arts while raising funds for Hospice Malta.
