As part of the cultural series "La Scatola Magica", an engaging evening dedicated to the history of edged weapons will be held on Tuesday, 22 October at 6.30pm at the Friggieri Hall, Valletta Design Cluster (Old Abattoir), 25 Bull Street, Valletta.

The presentation, entitled "Le armi bianche nella storia" ("Edged Weapons in History"), will be led by Andrei Xuereb together with Dr Anna Porcheddu, who will guide the audience on a fascinating journey through the evolution of swords and other traditional weapons, exploring their historical significance, development and use across different periods and cultures.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the Malta Historical Fencing Association, offering attendees an opportunity to discover how these weapons shaped military history and influenced society over the centuries.

The talk is open to the public and forms part of the ongoing programme of cultural and educational events promoted by "La Scatola Magica".
