Former Nationalist Party (PN) communications director Nathaniel Attard has broken his silence following his abrupt dismissal, issuing a reflective statement on his decades of service to the party.
Attard, who was removed from his role on 27 September, took to social media to address his departure. Comparing life's hardships to dusting oneself off and rising again, he spoke candidly about dealing with recent health struggles, moments where he felt unappreciated, and instances where he took the blame for things outside his control.
While noting that he has always worked behind the scenes rather than seeking the spotlight, Attard warned the public against believing everything they hear, particularly from those attempting to exploit a delicate situation. He defended his integrity by highlighting over 30 years of loyal service and dedication to the party's ideals, swearing that he gave his life and health to his responsibilities.
Concluding on a resilient note, Attard asked for strength from his family and faith to carry him through the difficult period. He urged supporters to avoid judging others, stating that a moment of truth will eventually arrive and that he harbours no intention of causing harm, even if he feels he was treated unjustly.
