The Phoenicia Malta is supporting Pink October 2026 with the return of Pink Afternoon Tea, served daily in Palm Court Lounge from 2pm to 6pm throughout the month.

As the annual international campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pink October seeks to raise awareness of the disease and funds for research into its diagnosis and treatment. Once again, The Phoenicia Malta stands behind this worthy cause with its Pink Afternoon Tea, donating a portion of proceeds to Action for Breast Cancer Foundation, a voluntary organisation for breast cancer patients and their families in Malta and Gozo.

For Pink Afternoon Tea, the hotel's classic afternoon tea menu takes on the pink theme. Pastries include a strawberry and coconut lamington and a raspberry and ricotta kannolo, alongside finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. Vegan and gluten-free versions of the menu are also available, as well as the option to add a glass of Cavicchioli Prosecco or Barons de Rothschild Champagne to the occasion.

It joins a range of Pink October initiatives at the hotel, both for guests and its team: strawberry and coconut lamingtons are on sale, as are pink doughnuts through the human resources team, all to raise further funds for the Foundation.
