Beyond the Barricade the UK's leading musical theatre concert, featuring the best of West End and Broadway shows and starring past principal performers from the legendary hit musical, Les Misérables, returned by popular demand to the Manoel Theatre in Valletta this weekend.

Appearing on stage with their new show for 2007 will be David Fawcett, Andy Reiss, Claire Marlowe and Katie Leeming, who have taken major roles in West End shows such as Les Misérables.

Fawcett and Reiss devised Beyond the Barricade after appearing in the Manchester and London casts of Les Misérables, with David playing Jean Valjean and Andy playing Enjolras. The show has been touring for more than 10 successful years throughout the UK and abroad, delighting audiences with its exciting concert portrayal of the greatest songs in theatre, all performed totally live!

Featuring songs from The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Wicked, Evita, Spamalot, We Will Rock You, Miss Saigon, Blood Brothers, and a host of others, the show climaxes with a selection from, of course, Les Misérables. This exciting, fast moving show has received huge critical acclaim across the UK, selling out at many of the venues that it has visited on its current tour.
