Matthew Agius and Nina Ivanova were declared Photo Model of the Year 2007 (Male and Female section respectively), with Christabelle Borg and Jason Azzopardi first runners-up, and Raisa Newell and Kurt Vassallo second runners-up.

The newly-opened Nove Wine and Beer Bar in St Julian’s, overlooking the picturesque Spinola Bay, recently hosted the Photo Model of the Year 2007 event, organised by Modelle International in collaboration with Fotoclassic.

Forty male and female models participated in this competition, where models had to submit several photos from portraits to full length to a specially-selected panel of judges. Some of the photos submitted were taken in studios, whereas the rest were shot in different locations around the Maltese islands. All photos were chosen by the models themselves.
