Maltese ambassador to Spain Gaetan Naudi on Tuesday presented a fully paid holiday prize to the winner of a Malta Tourism Authority competition set up for the International Expo 2008 in Zaragoza.

The winner of the competition, José Alberto Burgués from Madrid, said he had never read about Malta before but got into it thanks to the competition. He and his wife are going to treat their Malta visit as a second honeymoon.

Mr Naudi encouraged the prize winners to enjoy their Malta holiday and spread the word about their experiences when they return to Spain, adding that word of mouth was the most effective and reliable source of advertising.
