The police said Saturday that the man who was allegedly involved in a robbery at an outlet in Pieta has been identified and arrested.
An undisclosed amount of cash had been stolen in the robbery in Pieta on Monday morning. The robbery took place in an outlet in St Luke’s Road at 10.15am.
The police said that investigations led them to apprehend the man in an apartment in Valletta.
The 39-year-old is being held for questions and will be charged in court in the coming days.
