Girl Airlifted to safety by AFM

An Armed Forces of Malta statement yesterday said that at 3pm on Saturday, AFM Operations Centre at Luqa was informed that a 15-year-old French girl had sustained injuries after diving in the sea at Comino. The girl was in difficulties and could not return to land.
An AFM helicopter was dispatched to the scene and the girl was air-lifted and taken to St Luke’s Hospital for treatment.
