It will be on sale during the Nationalist Party’s activities to mark the 40th anniversary of Independence Day, to be held at the Floriana Granaries between 15 and 20 September.

The book, written by journalist Dione Borg, discusses the political scenario of Malta in the 1970s and 1980s, concentrating mostly on the violent events that characterised those eventful years.

It was first published in September 2002 and was republished a year later. The new edition will feature new information following court cases that have been decided since the original publication.

The first publication contained 400 pages; the number of pages of the new version will be 630.

The people interviewed in the book include Eddie Fenech Adami, Guido de Marco, Louis Galea, Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici, Mario Galea, Joe Grima and Anglu Fenech.
