A number of volunteers led the activities, which included drama, sport, crafts, story-telling and religious activities.

On the last day, a variety show featuring items learnt by the children during the summer club was organised on the Oratory stage, to which the parents and families of the children were invited.

An exhibition of crafts made by the children was also set mounted. The activity came to an end with a pizza party in the grounds for everyone present.

It is planned to run the Summer Club again next year.
