Yesterday, 48-year-old Louie Naudi was accused of fraud and of misappropriating Lm20,000 of what were allegedly EU funds assigned to the Rural Affairs and Environment Ministry.
The compilation of evidence against Mr Naudi was deferred to 6 October due to the fact that the prosecution’s prime witness is currently in hospital.
The court was presided over by magistrate Lawrence Quintano and inspector Bernard Zarb prosecuted.
