Lotto booths are expecting an inundation of customers as people crowd to buy tickets for tonight’s Super 5 lottery, the draw of which is to be the highest ever – Lm330,000.

Those who usually buy one ticket are plumping for more while those who have never bought a Super 5 ticket are asking how to get hold of one.

The previous highest jackpot was Lm272,000 in June 1999. Before its privatisation, the jackpot was capped at Lm200,000 but since Maltco Lotteries took over the jackpot continues to increase until one lucky person guesses all five numbers drawn.
