The 2005 edition of the most prestigious local event in the world of fashion will be held once again at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, on Saturday, 28 May.

This year the organisers of the Malta Fashion Awards are widening the sectors by adding to the line -up of awards, such as those within the beauty sector. In fact this year awards will be given to beauty therapists, nail technicians, hair salons and body paint artists. An award will also be given for the best advertising campaign using local talent.

Rules and regulations have been updated through consultation with the top associations in each particular field.

The public can participate by filling out the forms that are available on the fashion awards official website, and vote for who they would like to see nominated in a particular field. People working in these fields can also send a form asking the Monitoring Board to consider their application and curriculum vitae.
