Peter Moore, chief executive officer at Malta Shipyards, will be terminating his employment with the company after seven years, a company statement said yesterday.
Mr Moore will leave in a few weeks time to occupy a top managerial position with an English company involved in defence.
He will be replaced by Christopher Bell, who for the past years worked at Malta Shipyards as a commercial executive. Before coming to Malta, Mr Bell worked with several international companies, including some involved in the offshore business.
In the next few weeks Malta Shipyards will be issuing a call for applications to employ a new commercial executive.
