No, the reason for this brief outline is largely inspired by the myriad questions I have been asked by several people, some because they are still slightly skeptical of the Aussie Floyd’s credentials. Having personally seen this band perform onstage in Manchester only last month, I must admit it was both a pleasure and a privilege to experience the passion and essence of Pink Floyd’s music thanks to the Australian Pink Floyd’s uncompromising performance, huge musical talent and professional presentation.

Like everyone else, my expectations of a tribute band usually fall short of the mark set by the original band, and I have seen a fair share of such bands. I can honestly say that the Aussie Floyd is the first tribute band to exceed all of my expectations! It would be wrong to expect look-alikes, especially because going to a Pink Floyd concert was never about staring at Gilmour, Waters or anyone else for that matter! It was always about the magical combination of sound and vision – the epic yet simple grandeur of Floyd’s classic tunes coupled with a precise set-up of lasers and visual backdrops that complemented the music every step of the way!

This is what the Australian Pink Floyd Show focuses on. This is why the original Pink Floyd has endorsed this band unreservedly. This is why this band has been pulling crowds by the thousand to each and every one of their concerts around the globe.
