This year’s edition of the Malta Jazz Festival will build on its reputation for offering a variety of musical styles based on different cultural backgrounds from all corners of the globe. At this year’s festival, taking place on 15, 16 and 17 July, artists from no fewer than seven countries will be participating.

The countries represented are the United States of America, Argentina, Brasil, Malta, Austria, Portugal and France.

“The audience at the Malta Jazz Festival has always appreciated the fact that we try to offer a variety of styles to suit different tastes. The festival has built a particular reputation for presenting the very best artists from Latin America. This year, with performances from Cama de Gato, Rosa Passos and Dino Saluzzi, fans of Latin American music will once again be given a treat,” said the festival’s artistic director, Charles Gatt.

Tickets for the Malta Jazz Festival, which is organised by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts, and sponsored by Cisk Export, Vodafone, Le Meridien Phoenicia and the American Centre, are available from St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in Castille Square or from the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts, 230 Republic street, Valletta.
