There are only two foreign dancers, a man and a woman, who at present have a permit to work as dancers in Malta, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg told Adrian Vassallo on Tuesday.

Dr Vassallo asked how many establishments have a permit to employ foreign dancers and how many professional dancers there are.

Dr Borg replied that the Citizenship and Expatriates Department usually gets a number of requests around Christmas to get in a number of foreign dancers and the time frame they are allowed in is usually limited.
