Chess: Dane Torben Sorensen Wins the Malta Open

The Malta Chess Open tournament came to an end this week with Torben Sorensen of Denmark (pictured) placing first with six and a half points out of a possible seven.

Sorensen was the top seed of the competition. Runner up to Sorensen was Malta Champion Andrew Borg while in third place, with the same number of points but with an inferior Bucholtz, was Ron Sammut.
