Singers Julie and Ludwig have just arrived from the United States after giving sell-out concerts in San Francisco and Detroit Michigan.

The couple were warmly welcomed by the Maltese communities in both states.

During their performance in Michigan Julie and Ludwig were told that baritone and artistic director Dino Valle from the Verdi Opera Theatre of Michigan had come to watch their performance. To their surprise he joined them to sing the Italian popular song Funiculi Funicula for which they where given a standing ovation.
